  • 5-6 cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2-3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method

In a stand mixer or a large bowl, beat butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, alternating with heavy cream until desired consistency is reached. Add vanilla extract and salt and mix until incorporated.

Frost the cooled cake and serve. You can also top it off with freshly chopped fruit and/or whipped cream!
